I have a small bone to pick with Lwsn Ticket on how their website works and let's just say I'm not a huge fan of Ae En Ayy's website... The hoops I had to jump through (and the things I found out after the fact) to get a spot in Ta-san's one-man live at the end of the month...

Once the anime starts airing again, I'm sure I'm gonna feel a whirlwind of emotions when it gets to the heavy stuff.

But on a lighter note, I'm so looking forward to the Sapporo Beer Factory and Tokyo Love Story arcs getting animated. Those gave me some good laughs!

Noda really created some interesting characters. I wasn't expecting to become attached to several of them in the remaining two or three arcs, and OH HOW IT HIT ME when fate caught up to them.

Finished and I can't believe it's over. I wish there were just a few more chapters, but I'm happy with how it ended.

There were so many casualties that I wasn't expecting; it's quite frightening how one's life can be taken away just like that.

Finally finishing up the GK manga after putting it off for a few years and part of me wants to stop reading because I don't want it to end... And also because I'm a little scared of how it'll end.

I tested so many pens, probably a good chunk of them having gold nibs without me knowing. Swatching all the different nib sizes and seeing what they were inked with was so therapeutic. I also tried a glass pen for the first time! I think that will be my next pen purchase.

Can't wait for next year.

Attended my first pen show over the weekend and had lots of fun. The variety of workshops was amazing; I had such a hard time narrowing down the ones I wanted to sign up for (if I could, I would've taken them all).

I want to try making a journal called Daily Payato or Monthly Kaganui.

Every time I make the choice to sleep early, there's always something I end up forgetting to do. It's funny because I probably wouldn't have forgotten if I stayed up late.

Should I just be satisfied that I've at least seen a certain... person... in concert?

I am once again torn at the thought of having to buy 20+ copies of a CD just to increase my chances of winning the ticket lottery. I really can't justify it.

Also, the scene of Joey dueling Mai during Duelist Kingdom with the overlay of Shizuka in the sky... I'm glad the cast also agrees that it looks like Shizuka already di3d.

I have the archive of Duelist Live playing in the background as I work and I'm laughing at the scene Takeuchi chose. It's the duel at the beginning of DSoD between Yami and Kaiba; of course Kaiba has Yami in his memories as this hot, toned dude.

(But the very first thing that came to my mind was that he looks like a certain utaite... And I reallllly like that utaite.)

Corbeau's design is soooo good. Aside from just being a good-looking character, I love the motifs in his clothing and accessories that embody the snake/poison typing.
