Let UNRWA Aid Trucks Into Gaza
The regionβs most experienced aid agency could feed all of Gazaβs population for three monthsβif Israel would just let them do their job.
At this very moment, UNRWA alone has 6,000 trucks waiting just beyond the border with enough food to feed the entire population of Gaza for 3 mos
Why is Israel restricting UNRWA, and the UN, from doing the work they know best?

No Proof Hamas Routinely Stole U.N. Aid, Israeli Military Officials Say
Think of all those pro-Israel pundits you saw on your television screens this past year trying to sociopathically justify the mass starvation of Gaza by robotically claiming Hamas steals the aid. They were all lying. Shamelessly. Even the Israeli military confirms it now.

βIt was a nightmareβ: Venezuelans deported from US describe conditions in Salvadoran prison | CNN
For months, they say, they were beaten by prison guards, shot with pellets, deprived of adequate medical care and denied any due process inside El Salvadorβs Center for Terrorism Confinement.

More than 100 NGOs warn Israelβs forced βmass starvationβ stalks all Gaza
Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza says 111 people have now died from famine and malnutrition in recent weeks.
No words left for this engineered horror.
"More than 100 aid groups have called on governments to take urgent action as Israel's forced 'mass starvation' of Palestinians engulfs Gaza. The groups warned that deepening starvation of the population was spreading across the besieged enclave."

Whitepeople believed that whatever the manners, under every dark skin was a jungle. Swift unnavigable waters, swinging screaming baboons, sleeping snakes, red gums ready for their sweet white blood. In a way, he thought, they were right. The more coloredpeople spent
strength trying to convince them how gentle they were, how clever and loving, how human, the more they used themselves up to persuade whites of something Negroes believed could not be questioned, the deeper and more tangled the jungle grew inside. But it wasn't the jungle blacks brought with them to this place from the other (livable) place. It was the jungle whitefolks planted in them. And it grew. It spread. In, through and after life, it spread, until it invaded the whites who had made it. Touched them every one.
Changed and altered them. Made them bloody, silly, worse than even they wanted to be, so scared were they of the jungle they had made. The screaming baboon lived under their own white skin; the red gums were their own.
All of these white people smiling and joking as they enact their barbarities are the white people in the lynching photos.
Brutal. Barbarous.
From Beloved.

How fascism works in India
Indiaβs fascist turn under Modiβs Hindu nationalism mirrors Nazi tactics, targets Muslims and threatens democracy
The tactics we saw in India are being followed by the Trump administration. Anyone familiar with 2019 in India, with what they did to Jawaharlal Nehru University, will see the parallels in Trump's assault on US universities. Jason Stanley writes:

A reminder that when you make a new armed force like this, it doesnβt ever get shut down, job done. It continues to be given new reasons to exist, with new enemies invented to justify its existence due to ever increasing vested interests.

Chila Kumari Burman
A Moment to Herself
2002
Inkjet on acetate
Arts Council Collection, Southbank Centre,
London
This hypersaturated, colourful work depicts things in Burman's flat including flowers, jewellery, lingerie, trinkets, found objects and Indian paraphernalia. Highly cropped and laid out in a grid formation, these dazzling images conjure up a kaleidoscopic view of the artist's world.
She describes her practice as being devoted to
'challenging stereotypical assumptions of Asian women' and her work is informed by popular culture and by her gender, class, and ethnicity.
Head to the ICA, London art peeps! Connecting Thin Black Lines 1985-2025 curated by Lubaina Himid, until 7 Sept. Event programme includes a bunch of @pratibha.bsky.social screenings too!!!
