It's sort of an AU? Since I do Kind of have lore for it in mind but it's also a general dynamic!

Explaining Radiodial: An in depth explanation of my Alastor and Vox's dynamics. Disclaimer: This walks the line between 'radiostatic' and 'radiosilence' as well as other dynamics of the two. It dives into some unhealthy relationship dynamics that are not meant to be good examples of any sexuality or orientation presented, they are toxic for each other and make it everyone's problem! It's an AU, it's not meant to be taken seriously or seen as a critique of the character dynamics. I don't believe 'I could write it better'. I just wanted to create a dynamic that fit the characters in our eyes and somewhat in cannon. My mutual and I created this lore for fun (big credit to them for helping work on this dynamic). We both identify on the aroace and nonbinary/trans spectrums. So we wanted to play with their identities and are not trying to erase Alastor's asexuality. Rather play with lesser known subtypes other than just being repulsed or ignoring it entirely. Don't think about anything too hard, it's not that serious.

Explaining Radiodial Summary: Like the dials on a radio, depending on how you twist them you could hear your favorite melody, a song that brings you and your loved ones together, or nothing at all. A cruel cycle of obsession and unrequited love, only made worse by the nights where they come close, only for deep feelings to drive them apart. Every time Vox is rejected, he turns away from Alastor, telling himself he needs to move on. After some time however, Alastor grows eager to have Vox's attention. For a very small time, they reciprocate each others desires. But, Vox never seems to learn - The cycle repeats.

Radiodial: Alastor Pronouns: He / They / It (she only if given permission) Pride Flags: Transgender / Genderfluid / Aroace Summary: Alastor has unknowingly built up a familiarity and joy around Vox's obsession. Whenever Vox pulls away for too long, Alastor tends to get 'bored'. Alastor will start to develop an obsession of his own (he will deny this) to get Vox's attention. He will appear and start to taunt and push Vox's buttons to pull Vox back into thinking he has another chance of being close with him. He heavily enjoys fighting and tormenting Vox. Romance: Alastor does not prioritize romantic relationships, he doesn't know why others seem so keen on being in official relationships, he finds them suffocating and akin to deals to own each others souls. Sexuality: Alastor likes to keep to himself, being intimate is a chore and humiliating, he could live without it. He rarely if ever gives in to being intimate with others, which is usually motivated by self-gratification. ( assorted notes written by Vox over a drawing of Alastor) - seemingly attracted to power? - actually a fucking freak - (smudged) FUCKING BRAT!

Radiodial: Vox Pronouns: He/Him Pride Flags: Transgender / Demiromantic / Bisexual Summary: Vox never truely got over Alastor. When Al lets him get close, he grows greedy and selfish. Enjoying any scrap of intimacy. In the heat of it he finds himself being more domestic and loving than Alastor wants. When Alastor hurts him he pulls away. Only to crawl back into Alastor's claws at his beck and call. He loves fighting with and irritating Alastor. Getting reactions out of him in an effort to emotionally level the playing field. Romance: Vox does not prioritize romance as he believes he's mostly disinterested in it. Yet he desires romantic intimacy and closeness once he's gotten close to someone. He doesn't like to put labels on it. Sexuality: Vox enjoys intimacy and considers himself bisexual. It's not a deal breaker if the other party doesn't want sex, but he would prefer it. Partially motivated by self-gratification, he takes pleasure in prioritizing the other party more. ( assorted notes written by Alastor over a drawing of Vox) - like a dog, how repulsive. - wonderful fangs. - lovely voice when not running his mouth. - thinks he's entitled to me. - terrible manners, awfully spoiled.
