Golden Age Superman stands head to thigh alone in a panel black at the top and red on the bottom where Superman stands pointing at the reader as he says, "Be wary of unscrupulous operators of gambling games--they are always on the look out for unsuspecting victims."

The WWI parallels have been too similar for my taste. The worst-case scenario in my mind is China moving on Taiwan in the next month or so.

This is so easily revived today. Such a slam dunk of a high concept!

My dad was going to name me after his dad but since he ran out on Mom while she was in labor (even stole her car from the hospital parking lot!) she named me after her dad instead.

So my half-brother got stuck with Adolph.

He goes by AJ.

I stayed with my fascination of modern Chinese art with “A History of Art in 20th Century China” which examines how European & US culture influenced their art. These are only the tip of the iceberg! Both familiar and wildly different.

And now he’s an RFK Jr fan.

I actually hand-painted the coat that Ultimate Warrior wore in his final appearance, a day before he passed. A very complicated man and I don’t know that our relationship would’ve lasted, but I can say he and his family were very nice to me.

Thanks to therapy I’ve learned that none of this was, like, normal.

My mom grew up next door to noted mass murderer Jeff Lundgren. When he was arrested the news only had two photos of him: His yearbook photo and a picture from the yearbook of them dancing together. For a few months we got stopped everywhere we went. People even asked if I was his son. (I’m not.)

When I was 9 on Thanksgiving we found out that grandma had been feeding us cat food. When confronted, she said she’d always done it. My mom, aunt and uncle had been eating cat food THEIR ENTIRE LIVES. A couple years ago I told my therapist about this and she actually jumped out of her seat.

THESE ARE THE STORIES I’M COMFORTABLE TALKING ABOUT PUBLICLY.

I worked with a guy for years, we became friends and stayed in touch. He’d told me once that he’d changed his name to get away from his horrible family. In 2019 we found out we’re cousins. His grandfather was my militiaman uncle I grew up across the street from. His dad tried to murder my mom once.

Used a wash of Payne’s Gray to desaturate the background while also giving it a richer feeling. Signed Okada prints tomorrow!

I was in a limo with The Shockmaster and Billy Gunn for 2 hours in Canada. Fred and I talked about art the whole time while Billy played Candy Crush and kept cussing at it. Billy never said one word to me the whole time.
