I'm truly glad that I was able to purchase #Koikatsu back in 2020(?)

I love the art and animation of Japan's entertainment industry. But it's cultural diarrhea can fuck right off.

I guess it's because I AM built different.

I could tell you my life story and assholes will make fun of it regardless.

Instead, I'll tell you that true adult anime (and meeting up with an actual #sexworker) is by far more superior than wallowing in another man's gunk.

I HATED Kanojo Okarishimasu.

I HATED [insert unfunny, unromantic romcom title here].

I HATE franchises about weak young men struggling and failing.

Why THE FUCK would I enjoy being reminded about how my life sucks.

It's a world that exists where there's no proper / accepted outlet for unresolved sexual tension. And it's misogynistic if you want [Kazuya] to be better than and succeed.

Because if he succeeds, the story's over. You can't tell a story about a winner.

And it's popular because its fans are ASS. The system that allows its existence, and franchises of its ilk, are ASS.

And; despite it having low scores, even among the Japanese; it continues to exist.

Looking back to THAT scene in Kanojo Okarishimasu S01 EP5.

I fully realized right now that KanoKari is a story about a guy who's close to his goal but never reaches it because its original creator is ASS (despite him having a wife and child).

Naw, never mind. Too messy.

The shounen lead uses his Akuma-based karate to take an attractive woman, mentally break her, and make her his girlfriend.

But the feMC, a "Saki," steers him towards becoming what his mom tortured him to become, a mah-jong player.

Damn! I'm getting another idea.

It's my tried-&-true "shounen fights back in a pink bishoujo ghetto" style. AND it's #porn.

But it's #Saki, a story about girls playing mah-jong.

"Ai" meant "love" in Japanese.

There are girls named "Ai" back in Japan.

So when the idea of "artificial intelligence" gets mixed up in the conversation, I don't even get mad anymore.

It's easier to get "slop" than "love."

If you're making something and it pisses people off, find out why.

I took "traditional art" classes back at @sacstate.bsky.social whilst getting a Bachelors in "Studio Art Methods;" focusing on making computer art.

Said "traditional art," like painting and using pencils, helps you to appreciate what goes into art.
