and the idea of role playing sometimes triggers a childhood trauma where I was called "dumb（像个傻瓜）" when i was a kid talking to my doll. I'm in my 20s now I know it's not dumb, it's just a kid playing but I still can't get rid of the shame whenever I want to play again.

Idk how to come up with cool olde english verse or speak like characters in lotr, I can't even speak the language properly, and unfortunately my local dnd community is 99% in English.

4 years ago I joined my first irl dnd session, ngl I miss it alot but I still can't get myself to do it again cuz I'm just bad at rping.
Not being able to speak perfect English is one, there's also a voice behind my back keep saying "this is cringe" to me whenever i have the thought of playing dnd 😔
