The difficulty in finding competent providers, obtaining support from insurance, and the availability of testing services for weird and obscure cases is nothing but harrowing. If you ever develop something systemic like autoimmune or neurologic, be prepared for it to take years to get to an answer.

Needless to say, the complications around eating have resulted in undesired weight loss in a pretty significant capacity. We are trying to see if we can find something to head it off before it gets worse. I do not want a repeat of a year ago, but i am already half way there.

In fact, started one of them tonight so we will see what happens. I’m at a point where if I eat the wrong thing, as happened several times the last week or so, I get debilitating pain and adrenaline spikes that last for hours and hours that cause unfathomable anxiety. The last one was 10 hours long.

This month has already been a lot. My health is tanking again and I’ve had some pretty heavy discussions with my doctors. We are going to trial a few medications as diagnostic tools to see what happens because there’s no clear explanation or pattern with anything going on other than food sensitivity

Elk are again roaming on lands that California has returned to the Tule River Indian Tribe Tribal leaders and Gov. Gavin Newsom gathered Wednesday to mark the return of 17,000 acres of ancestral land to the Tule River Indian tribe.
