We're now at one week since opening contributor applications for Courage and Grace: A MiphLink Zine, and the submissions we've received so far have been incredible! Artist, Writer, and Merch Artist Contributor Applications remain open until August 22nd, so there’s still plenty of time to apply if you've been considering it. A couple of folks have expressed nervousness about being good enough/experienced enough, so we just want to say:

Whether you're an experienced zine contributor or brand new to the scene, we want to see what you’ve got! No creator is too small. You don’t need a massive following or a pristine portfolio. What matters most is your passion, your creativity, and a willingness to be part of something we’re building together. If this zine excites you even a little, we genuinely hope you’ll apply. We’d love to see what you can create!

In response to the breath-taking reception our initial announcement and the interest checks submitted, we are excited to officially introduce Lulles to the team behind Courage and Grace: A MiphLink Zine. We are dedicated to delivering the absolute best for this project.

Link becomes a Scion of Darkness and forfeits everything ~ he eventually becomes the big bad evil guy and mipha has to strike him down. Ganon may just have found a way to conquer Hyrule. Link becomes a black knight of vengeance.

Link pleads with her, insisting that he did it for her - for them - so that they could have a second chance at happiness together.

But it's too late, Mipha cannot accept the unholy price of her return. She runs away from him and Link loses her all over again.

Mipha awakens, she is alive once more! They are both overjoyed!

However, their joy is short lived.

Mipha is horrified upon learning how she was brought back. The Link she knew and loved would never commit such a sacrilegious act.

Out of desperation, Link makes a forbidden pact with the demon sealed within the Horned Statue. He trades a portion of his own life to bring his beloved back from the dead.

Against all odds, the demon fulfills his end of the bargain.

so I'm replaying BOTW and I came upon the horned statue and now I'm thinking about Link exchanging some of his life essence to bring Mipha back 😩
