Diagnosis of the week: Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome- A serious condition characterized by the triad of:
1. Microangiopathic hemolytic anemia
2. Thrombocytopenia
3. Acute kidney injury
Types of HUS: Typical Shiga toxin-associated); Atypical (Genetic); Secondary (to pregnancy, malignancy etc).
