A dear friend, neighbor and longtime labor organizer is seeking support from his Mayfair community! After being in a serious car accident earlier this year, he has been out of work for several months. He is looking to make rent for next month and has a goal of $600. ANY amount helps. Yesterday evening, they were notified by a credible source of potential ICE raids at upcoming cultural festivals, the Barrio Arts Fest and The Great Colombian Festival, in Humboldt Park.
Trained volunteers will be on site at the upcoming festivals and will be providing Know Your Rights cards.

"Our [office, organization, institution] has been working closely with the Northwest Side Rapid Response team to respond to potential ICE sightings.
On the scene at an ICE Intensive Supervision Appearance Program facility at 2245 S. Michigan in Chicago, where protestors and press have gathered in response to reports of federal agents detaining people at a surprise immigration check-in. Multiple Chicago police here as well.

We're not at 2245 S Michigan, but someone just sent this in.
People have mobilized outside an ISAP (Intensive Supervision Appearance Program) office where a longtime member of OCAD was reportedly detained earlier today. Unknown whereabouts at this time, presumably being transported.
Folks OTG are calling for mobilization to shift to ICE Field Office further north at 101 W. Congress, where the person could potentially be transported first.
Typically detainees are then also processed at the processing center in Broadview, IL.
