Turns out that the $16MM payoff ABC made to Trump bought them only a few months' reprieve. Weird how that happens.

A lot of people didn’t like the Washington Post journalist who was tortured and dismembered with a bone saw for writing critically about the man sitting next to me

Republicans have lost ground with Latino voters after Trump’s 2024 gains | CNN Politics A year after President Donald Trump’s re-election, Republicans are already seeing their gains among Latino voters erode, recent election results and polling suggest. Here’s what’s changed and what it ...

In CNN’s latest poll, just 20% of Latinos approved of his job performance, down from 41% in February. This 21-point drop far outpaces the 4- and 9-point drops among Black and White Americans and the 10-point drop in his approval rating overall.

The only Legitimate Concerns about asylum seekers are concerns for their well being and safety. For a rich country like ours to incessantly whine about these people as if we are their victims is perhaps the single most pathetic spectacle in British politics over the past quarter century.

I just want an administration/congressional majority willing to use its immense power to go after the other side.

We have a huge advantage here! Unlike us, they regularly violate the actual, written law! Let's use it!

The Shocking Truth About Gen Z Voters Is That They’re Pretty Great Stop panicking: They are the most progressive generation ever, especially on race. If that surprises you, you’ve been listening to the wrong story.

2/🧡 New piece with @jakemgrumbach.bsky.social in @NewRepublic: We analyzed 60,000+ respondents in the 2024 Cooperative Election Study. Gen Z has the lowest racial resentment of any generation. The generational shift overwhelms the education divide that supposedly defines modern politics.

Perfect example of political media operating under the post-truth standard that (1) distorts the facts until the parties look approximately equal, and (2) holds β€œdo MAGA voters care?” as a higher standard than β€œis it true?” or β€œis it important for the public to know about this?”

This sounds reasonable but is 100% wrong. Whether you or agree or disagree with a study is completely immaterial. What matters is whether the study was conducted properly and generates valid results. And it's impolitic to say but it's true: you have to have some level of expertise to judge that.

Democrats at every level of power could simply repeat "he must resign" over and over and over again. It's what the GOP would do if the situation were reversed. Further erode his power by pushing him to lash out more.

Remember how Elon said that Trump was in the Epstein files and that’s why he won’t let them be released and he apparently knew all about that but then decided to be friends with Trump again a week later so he just deleted that tweet and doesn’t mention it and no one regards that as a bit of an issue

Trump did the thing, everyone knows he did the thing, and he's got an entire political party and associated media apparatus trying to cover up his clear involvement in the thing. One of the sickest, most sordid chapters in an especially sick and sordid period of modern American history.

Pardon the Corruption Trump’s blanket pardons for stop-the-steal illegality aren’t only about settling scores from past elections. They’re about laying the groundwork to subvert future ones.

"But the true messageβ€”the prospective messageβ€”is that pardons will be available to everyone who joins him in election subversion in 2026 and 2028. This wave of preemptive pardons is a permission slip, an encouragement for election subversion in the future."

Wow: Per Hamdi's legal team, his only charge was a visa overstay β€” after Trump revoked his visa.

Despite DHS tweeting that Hamdi supported terrorism, they never charged him with any criminality.

In other words: Trump revoked a journalist's visa, so agents could arrest him for overstaying his visa.
