Kurt's Place permanently closes in Tampa - Watermark Out News Kurt’s Place, which began operating at the former City Side Lounge less than four months ago, permanently closed Nov. 23.

I have been watching this situation unravel since the bar opened in August.
I hope someone will revive the bar under responsible ownership and preserve a decades-long legacy of safe spaces that have occupied that building.
