It is expensive but I think the best practice is to run all three to compare. Claude is by far the best writer, but has the strictest limits.

You know what the most amazing thing about chatbots? They are agreeable? Imagine if we all supported each other in our theories and flights of fancy? It would be an interesting experience if nothing else,

Something appears to have changed at ChatGPT to make deep research better. I ran it yesterday and one search took three hours! It also prompted me with a series of multiple questions first, not just the usual four.

Another essay about to drop. It’s going to be long, maybe 9,000 words? And those words are diamond sharp today.

That Dropped Call With Customer Service? It Was on Purpose. Endless wait times and excessive procedural fussβ€”it’s all part of a tactic called β€œsludge.”

Imagine if a candidate for US President had a workable program to ban sludge, that bureaucratic hell companies and the government put us through on support lines, in endless phone menus, and online to make us give up. They'd win 50 states!

Been watching Homicide: Life on the Streets.

Season 2 episode 2. (1994) is one of the most intense hours ever aired on TV. Andre Braugher and Yaphet Kotto’s performances in this are epochal.

Has anybody come up with a really good alternative for a gym they'd like to share? Trainers are now $100 an hour. Pretty much all the gyms around here have devolved into nothing but classes or have something horrible going on (no windows, blaring loud music). What the heck do people do?

Ajman is a lovely, massive (15lbs of muscle) boy. Our friends brought him to us to foster from Sharjah where they rescued his sorry wild ass. He’s getting used to the green lands of New Jersey.

Sunday reading. A long-form essay on the Rise and Fall of the Author. I won't hide the link today so it'll be shadow-banned across social media. Well, what else is new? Except that this should either be a book or heavily edited down. So it goes.

Ireland has a US border β€” it could help travellers nervous about Trump's America International travellers arriving from a select group of airports, including Ireland's Dublin and Shannon, breeze through customs β€” without an American passport.

It’s sad it’s come to having to offer this as travel advice, but if you need to fly to the US and are apprehensive, pre clearance through at the US borders in Irish airports is a great idea. You arrive at a domestic terminal.
