I prefer to call it different, not Utopian. Surely nobody would be able to agree that an already overpopulated planet needs growth. But i agree that in micro scale (personal level) no growth makes no sense whatsoever. It is probably the fundamental contradiction under a lot of challenges we face.

It makes for good future choices that lead to better services. But mind you i am thinking ridiculously out of the “this is hoe we have always done it and made a mess of it” box.😉

And why is a shrinking economy a problem? It is only a logical and much needed step if we (that is worldwide) want the human race to survive at all I would argue.
