I suppose I've always believed these acts that are deemed romantic are rituals, not genuine methods to convey love. And I'd be expected to perform them, not by my own desire, but merely to play my part as a proper suitor."

Leo again "I really am content with what we have. Everything I do with you is because I genuinely want to do it." Takumi then looks uneasy and starts thinking "Oh. I see. Leo thought he'd be married off someday. That makes sense. For some reason I never really thought about marriage, even though my situation was similar. Really, whenever I looked towards my future, I couldn't see anything in front of me. Not love, or family, or the fate of the kingdom. Just nothing.
