One more- you might also look at Mark Ormrod’s article on ‘The personal religion of Edward III.’ It has some information on the other prophecy about E III being the great boar (subduing England’s enemies and so on).

Okay. Got it! There are 2 places I know of- Hughes, Rise of Alchemy (book) pp 103-5; and Young Magic in Merlin’s Realm (book) pp 100-101. It’s E II’s mom, Isabella, who is into alchemy. And John Erghome (or Ergum), an Augustinian friar and alchemist says that she secured accession thru occult means.

I’ll peek at a couple things in the morning. That sounds familiar.
