Fits vaguely with my novel.
Agree. I wld press ahead with it. Itβs going to be an App as part an HMG wallet along with a driving licence.
08.10.2025 14:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0How does that work if there is no legislation yet or consultation ..,
08.10.2025 14:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I thought the Blair aspect was fake news.

Cutting ties with a trading block means your leaders spend lots of time on the international stage
Thatβs why it has been so criminal to denigrate the BBC. Was one of the great training grounds
08.10.2025 08:38 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My bet is on a mash up of 2 and 3. may be a sprinkling of 1.
Itβs going to be a pretty grim budget - tough decisions lots of cuts.
Itβs peculiar that they are so obsessed with the US whereas culturally the UK is far closer to thd Scandinavian countries - particularly Norway Sweden and Denmark.

I keep hoping something or someone will turn up. But canβt get beyond Matt Hancock.
Good.

Blair seeking redemption.
Trumps line about Bibi reads like something out of s novel.
Brilliant.
I am expecting Matt Hancock to come in stage left at some point β¦
05.10.2025 14:34 β π 12 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Here is a thing that I hear from *almost every British Jew I know* but have barely heard expressed in any of these programmes: No single person has done more to make Jewish people globally less safe than Benjamin Netanyahu.

05.10.2025 14:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0respectful disagreeing & learning is v much the top thing the world could learn from Jews, IMO. the argument l'shem shamayim, for the sake of heaven. every person has a fragment of the infinite truth of the eyn sof. when someone disagrees with you they are sharing another perspective of the divine.
04.10.2025 21:06 β π 31 π 5 π¬ 1 π 0Given that there hasnβt been a consultation on it or any legislation brought forward to implement it - all of the above is ridiculous

03.10.2025 21:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I thought it was fake news.
My assumption is that the ID card is going to be something in a wallet to go with the NHS App and probably have your NI number on it.
Just a monumental failure of basic fact-checking for a random conspiracy theory to go out on prime time BBC broadcasting. Iβm lost as to how @hignfy.bsky.social let it happen.
03.10.2025 21:41 β π 15 π 5 π¬ 1 π 1The breadth of Jewish disapproval of Netanyahu is significantly under-reported in UK media. Views are never monolithic but the median British Jew feels an attachment to Israel and feels Netanyahu has been a disaster for Israel (Institute for Jewish Policy Research)
