Congrats to the England women cricket team for a second straight World Cup victory in Assam over Bangladesh building on the success against South Africa on Friday.
Best of luck as you move to Colombo.
Hope to see you back in Guwahati for a possible semi final.

My Durga Puja highlights of 2025
There is a reason Kolkata is known as The City of Joy
If youโve also celebrated this year of previously please share your highlights of what is surely one of the most underrated celebrations on the planet beyond those who know ๐

Durga Puja beyond Kolkata - I took the opportunity to see the rural side with a Bengal based travel agency who are opening in UK - the first from Bengal to do so. Hoping they will spearhead efforts to market this remarkable celebration.
Colour, Culture & a little bit of Chaos.

Done - but nothing needs doing, point is we have to take a flight 13 hours earlier and so I miss several plans for tomorrow and incur the expense involved of having to get to the airport early and fly to LHR rather than LGW ๐ฅ
And we have 3 different middle seats as a family of 3 - so not happy.

Done - feel free to chase me.
But currently annoyed as @britishairwaysteam.bsky.social cancelled my return flight and as I am due to scatter my late fathers ashes on Thursday we will have to take the early morning rather than late evening flight effectively costing a day of exploring ๐
