Just this week, the President said the U.S. should "nationalize" elections and called out Oregon specifically as a state he wants to meddle in. I've got one thing to say: Not on my watch.

Oregon is the front line of defense for America's democracy — and we're winning. But the fight’s not over. And I want you to know I will keep fighting to make sure Oregon remains the gold standard for elections that are fair, accessible, accurate, and secure.

The threats to our elections have been growing since January of last year, but this past week alone, the temperature started rising, fast and dangerous.

Thank you to the students, teachers and district staff for a fun and informative tour of Chehalem Valley Middle School and the district's BARR program. It was great to meet the educators and witness their collaborative and intentional approach to student success. Go Wolves!

I’m proud to unveil my office’s new plan for performance audits. When I was elected to Secretary of State, I promised to revamp Oregon's state agency auditing system to help rebuild trust in your state government & to make sure your state tax dollars have the impact you deserve.

Oregon is the gold standard when it comes to making sure that elections are fair, accessible, accurate & secure. So, when anyone pushes back against that, you have to question what's their problem w/ more citizens voting & being accurately counted? Listen to my recent interview w/ @zerlinamaxwell.

This administration thinks they can push through every boundary, every check on their power, but they ran into a brick wall in Oregon. We will not turn over private voter data to a federal government that has no respect for the American people or their rights. We will not be bullied.

Oregonians rely on these financial reports to keep their local governments accountable, and they have every right to expect municipalities provide this information promptly.

Not once, but twice, the courts have stopped the president from meddling in our elections and sided with Oregon. This is big news for our elections and your vote.
