OH YES i love this detail a lot!!! its the whole reason why i think quinn is actually a very touchy person. its different when they're friends (there's no physical contact described) but when they're dating, i think quinn allows themself to be more vulnerable about it...

in terms of the ice cream shop, itd be funny if it was the only one in rafta... because the pirates cornered that market and dont want competition (i might be misremembering but i think the owners of the shop are cats?! also since narwhals are special to cats/pirates and the shop is filled with it)

thrill seekers and daredevils? or maybe those tours where people in cars go through an animal (monster?) reserve. i know the ice craggs would be such a good challenge for free climbing and the ocean coasts/storm plains/mushroom mire would be great for triathlons--

itd be interesting to see what kind of thrills and experiences catered to tourists would look like. i have to assume monsters are already a thing in the world at large (since heroes are a thing too!) but maybe just the sheer amount of new monsters and extreme environments probably attracts--

letting quinn experience unexpected kindness in my soulmate fic in an effort to introduce internal conflict whenever they have to shield themself from people to protect themself (from pain and disappointment). i love making myself emotional over fictional characters

im currently writing a soulmate fic for fun and im starting at the beginning (where quinn is still living with their parents in the tower) and writing the scenes are also making my heart squeeze painfully 😭 their background makes me pace around my room and clutch my head

and trusts you in return would definitely be a really good incentive to become a better person in the end... even if its in small steps. i love quinn leaving their comfort zone because they genuinely want to make an effort for sylvia AUHHH MY HEART...!!!! i love their love...
