I know so many of us are out of work rn and this is probably a stupid q. But like, I genuinely am lost on what else to do. I can't even get callbacks for in-person customer service/retail work in my city, so I'm trying to focus what little energy I have on moving industries.

So, like, are any writers having success transitioning out of content/copy writing into other spheres with their transferable skills? This is a very real q because I've been applying and networking and doing all the things for months and am having no success finding anything.

I think people who maybe live like... within reasonable distance of their friends could possibly do this. But none of my friends live anywhere near me, the closest one is a 3 hour drive away and then everyone else is flights away, so idk how anyone's doing that.
