I make burners on Reddit and churn through two or three in a year. I post about the NFL, video games, and sometimes on the Red Scare sub because I was looking for a refugee space when they shut down the Cum Town reddit.

I don't have a Reddit profile under my own name where I say and do controversial things, despite what people are saying on this network. That would be an insanely self-destructive thing for me to do. I don't know why people feel the need to say this kind of blatant lie about me but it's not true.

But that's not the question, right? There is arguably no person in this business who has a more secure position than you. You are nearly 40. You responded to someone's dishonest characterization, you were informed it was wrong, but you haven't retracted anything. It's up to you if you should.

I think people shouldn't judge books they haven't read, shouldn't mischaracterize where a blurb comes from, should admit they were wrong when corrected, and shouldn't constantly seek the approval of strangers on social media by invoking other the unpopularity of third parties.
