I have a lot of WIPs, but the next two weeks are gonna be finals for winter term, and then I'm going to have spring break which I may use to recuperate, or to do more stuff, I don't know, so posts might be slow for a bit!

Why it takes me so long to finish an art piece.

I just commissioned an artist for the first time to draw my Oc M from my FNAF au story “Welcome to

I've been toying with the idea of doing some mini art prints, but the only envelopes I have access to are 5x4... Would that even be worth it? And what material should a digital art print even be made out of?
Anyone with experience with this got any tips?

Ah definitely lots of places, and I'm sure it's here too, but I tend to just kinda limit myself to looking up a character or a ship tag to find art/people, so I probably just haven't ran across it yet 😂 but yeah as far as interactions go, I've had good experiences here so far!

The account posting this stuff has good intentions and great art, then got crazy followers but little to no interactions on THEIR art because the people following only did so, to star in the next vid 😬

There was this series I followed on twitter for a while that shared artists with low followers to give them support, but the comments under the posts stopped being about the art and started only being people begging/demanding to be the next ones to be shown.

Oh for sure, it feels very "if I do this for this person, then they HAVE to do the same for me!" This can even lead to being harassed for not interacting with their post the moment it's uploaded...
Even if someone keeps up with support in exchange, it just... doesn't feel real if that makes sense.

feel like the "supporting each other" is true support, it's all about what YOU can get in return. Idk just a lot of what I've seen, but maybe I'm in the wrong spaces/algorithm.

Anyone else feel like the art community has been very transactional, especially on places like insta?
If someone follows you, you're expected to follow them back, the "follow for follow" stuff, accounts that support small artists have comment sections full of "me, me, me" promos, just doesn't (1/2)

I'm so sorry for anyone waiting for the Mathew Lillard/William Afton drawing, I forgot it was midterms 😭

Without giving spoilers, it was TENSE and (to me) had a lot of cinematic filming, like great shots and lighting and you can tell that a lot of passion was put into the film.
Worst part was being at the theater 🙄 people behind me kept kicking my seat and afterwards loudly complained about the movie.

I'm so excited to go see Iron Lung tomorrow I'm gonna throw up
