Okay. Panic attack over, back to work.

I can’t find the motivation to keep editing a video right now. I haven’t had motivation to do any programming past “hello, world!” All I wanna do is lay in bed and not move. Is this what burnout is? Acute signs of depression? What does it all mean!

So here I say that the hole dug and staircase coordinates will be revealed along with the portal's nether coordinates after I retrieve my belongings. Here's to finding a much better, cozier, base spot to live in. Closer to home too.

Additionally, I've been kind of living out of my friend's base while we worked on getting villagers from the rebalance all set up. I think it'd be more convenient for us both and the highway construction project if I was NOT 20,000 blocks away from 0, 0.

I think it fits the spirit of the server better to not have such helpful things at my command. But I had some massive ideas I wanted to implement that I *really* cannot do without them.

Thinking about not using 707. I've got the hole dug and everything but something is off. Since the server is on snapshots I don't really have access to the mods I did when the server started and to be honest that's okay.

After 11 other re-designs I've settled on one I think I like. The one in the bottom right corner is the one I will be building to act as the elevator platform

This is my first design of the elevator. I do like the polished andesite but I don't really like it being the material used for embedding 707. I will experiment some more with it later and see what I think should stick.

These were the designs I was experimenting with for the 707 symbol that I wanted to be embedded into the platform. The one marked is the one I ended up liking the most and working with.

FULLY finished the drill project for 707. I'm not entirely sure how many total blocks were mined in the process of drilling only BUT I do know the statistics say I've mined 73,973 stone blocks. My next goal is to work on the elevator.

Lots and lots and lots of progress. I'm not even done for the day. I just didn't share any yesterday and I think this needs to be shared.

Never give up. The journey will suck but the destination will be well worth it.

Yknow what? I never realize how much progress I make with these big projects like 707. In the moment it always feels slow and like it'll never get finished but going back to my first post about it... I've made a LOT of progress.

The Stats:

707 has NOW reached the cave below the surface. I ran into this cave while doing nether portal stuff with my friend. I now have the idea of how deep I intend it to go. I currently sit at Y level 109 and I intend to go down to at least 64.

707 has reached it's first "flat" ground. Now I can start on lowering the shaft into the Earth. I need to concept some kind of elevator. I was thinking some kind of honey/slime elevator platform
