The Blu-ray had odd distortions in the edit, and changed the ending (for the worse in my opinion). I'd love to have different versions available to stream, instead of resorting to my old original DVD

Animate is no longer getting discontinued! But the bridge is still burned, and the trust is already gone. They're just kicking the can down the road and have shown that they can just end a program whenever they see fit. Still cancelling my subscription

Alright, I have 123 days to learn the alternatives and then I'm done with Adobe

So limited time to download...but I'm still confused about after that date. Do you literally get locked out of the program since it's subscription based?

So does anyone know of alternate animation programs that can open and edit .fla files once Adobe Animate gets euthanized?

Very similar - got out of the tub, heard the theme song of my favorite show starting in the living room and ran to not miss it, but caught my toe on something and split it open. Passed out.
