dude, Heated Rivalry is so fucking good. the guys playing Shane and Ilya are doing such incredible work portraying this complicated relationship and how it evolves over the years. the absolute shame on Shane's face this week as he realizes he's actually falling in love was so heartbreaking.

bits and pieces of her past are certainly revealed over time that recolours the way you view her outlook in life, but I don't think the show is trying to be the same kind of mystery box as Severance is.

primarily because I also don't think the central mystery is the point.

I totally disagree. I've found each episode has many interesting reveals about the hive and the new state of the world. I also think a lot is said about Carol by making her a traumatized mess, hurt that the entire world suddenly knows her deepest secret, yet still someone who wants to save everyone.

my brother has been watching Digimon Adventure recently so I found a copy of Digimon the Movie to show him last night and we had a blast watching it.

if you removed all of Kari's awful expository narration, that movie and it's constant jokes would actually be so charming and funny.
