Happy TBT! Today, I'm traveling back in time 11 years ago with a few photos from the fourth edition of Hiking Alabama.

A change of venue this morning - the dining room for writing, but the routine is the same - a mug of hot tea, the music of SiriusXM 40s Junction playing softly in the background, and my protagonists meticulously putting the pieces of the mystery together at a radio station in 1943. Duh-duh-duh!

That's a wrap! It was another fun conversation about my latest book, "Notable Women of Alabama," last night. I can't thank Ella, Trista, and the staff at the Fairhope Public Library enough for hosting me.

You never know who will be at one of my presentations and book signings. I was once upstaged when Pete the Cat made an appearance. But he was a cool cat about it. It could have been a cat-astrophe, but claw enforcement was not required.
