Yesterday evening I played Powerwash Simulator 2 for FOUR HOURS STRAIGHT while finishing off the Project Haily Mary audiobook (which is also awesome). I'm living my best life.

On a more positive note, I have managed to fix about half a dozen smaller bugs today; so small victories and all that.

This week has been the first *proper* full-time week I've spent on my game (quick plug: tinyurl.com/angaballs) and it's been quite gruelling. Spent most of it fighting with some pain-in-the-ass UI and a buff-system I'm not entirely sure will work 🫠

*phew* OK, rage abated, Google Drive automatically creates versions of saved files. I managed to get back the correct version (and made sure to create another backup). I have no idea why that happened. Windows/MacOS can't read a timestamp? Just decides to randomly save over things? Great work.

I've spent a day in Affinity Designer 2 creating artwork, saving regularly and backing it up to Google Drive. I just opened the same file on another computer, and this has resulted in the older version being saved over my new version. Fucking fantastic. What in the actual fuck.
