So there you have it.

I have a video to fix tomorrow, but for now, I need to sleep.

And then finally, when you play at the Hardest difficulty, your Health and Armor is put to Half what it usually is. Instead of having 100 Health, 100 armor, you only have 50.

So, combined with deadly sabers that is already capable of one-shotting you, they are now even more likely to do it!

Basically when you swing at an enemy, and somehow they immediately counter by taking your head off, that's a bonus attack. And that happened a lot against these reborns. They aren't as egregious as Desann after all, I tried fighting him too but I wanna go sleep, not be up to 4:30 AM again.

And then there's the programming thing, the way the game works in saber range which is why we love the game so, but also why it's almost a bit cryptic and it's easily noticed when fighting Desann.

Let's call it "Bonus Attacks" like a TTRPG.

Desann gets counter-attacks when you hit him.

It is "realistic" but it's also, "jank".

Sometimes the game will spawn 3 lightsabers from 1 dying reborn just creating this aoe shredding effect that *MAY* just slaughter you, or may just be a graphical glitch. It's terrifying every time though x3

Hitboxes, aren't always accurate.

After one hour of trying to defeat 11 basic reborn enemies as one Jedi Master ( not using force lightning, rage, armor, only push, pull, speed, jump.. Should had used sense when I think about it ), I only had one clean victory.

The other 3 times I got killed by the last enemy's flying lightsaber x3

Like there's several games I'm trash in, but Jedi Academy, and some MMO's I play, the way I fly and other games; I struggle to get recognition, I'd say. A sort of confirmation that my struggle has been worthwhile.

I find playing with all these settings in Jedi Academy to be a nightmare, and joy.

The problem with being me sometimes is that you never feel good enough from the baggage in your past & perceived present. So you are constantly struggling to prove something.

That means, hardest difficulty, dozen vs you, with insta-kill sabers, where one loose flying saber will be the death of you.

Dash is so floaty in Shadows of the Empire.
I primarily think it's a modern systems issue..

Out of the 'canon STar Wars species', Zabrak is pretty much my favorite. Though I do love the Yoda-species too. Last time I played SWBF2 ( Classic ) in that one YouTuber's stress test, I ran around like Yoda talking to myself "Jedi master I am, dead you be, HUHUHUUHUHUHU!" like a trolling Yoda XD

So then I decided to fight some Reborn Masters.

First one slew me. Second one I slew.
Then I went 3v1. I killed two, and the third one did some jump-twirl move that looked awesome and took me out.

It was good enough for tonight!

I've not actually played the campaign yet, only Instant Action joys! I take your work for it until I experience it myself ^^

Star Trek Armada II is like a step side-ways rather than forward or back. That being said, I honestly consider it inferior compared to Star Trek Armada I. Hence why I say it a side-step. It improved on aspects like adding Warp, a better action cam etc but. The gameplay itself isn't better.
