We think not having a home indicates that someone doesn't deserve one. It's deeply irrational. We have a prejudice against the homeless, and the poor in general. It's as deep as any other bigotry.

Refusing to build supportive housing for those who would otherwise be homeless means more unhoused people living on our streets and in our parks, AND much higher public costs paid by all of us. It’s as simple as that. #UrbanTruth

I was at the library yesterday and asked if they had a limit on how many books you could have on hold and she gave me a wary look and said... no...🤣
