This is both hilarious and awesome. As well as a great demonstration of why companions were a terrible idea. Turns out a 14 card sideboard is not much of a downside.

100%, it's about helping make a fun dynamic game for everyone.

As generally the more experienced player at the table, more info you give me, the better I can accomplish that goal.

I would also like a link. I try to keep up to date with the design philosophy, but hey, we all miss stuff from time to time.

The code is more what you'd call 'guidelines' than actual rules

To finish out. Bracket 4 is the magic equivalent of a professional slapping competition, so hit me with whatever

Bracket 5 your opponents will tell you what the other players are doing so u can help them

And Bracket 1 the cards should sell the theme themselves (though roleplay can be a nice touch)

I think, especially at Bracket 2, it's a good form to tell people how to beat your deck. And it's fun to have a video game boss style, glowing weakness.

Even at bracket 3, you should make your combos know and your plan clear.

This being said, I dont think one or 2 novel effects will ruin my deck building fun, and I can always just cut them if they do.

Thus, me gesturing to the fairly low count of this kind of thing as to why it's not a huge issue.
