My deepest take, a rather new one, is that the specialization of modern society both creates and requires ignorance of... a lot.

It is impossible to know all the things, which means there's value in individuals knowing a lot about some things, and those individuals exploit knowledge gaps.

I think that the tweet genre of “this person (who might be a bot) had a bizarre opinion that made me think less of humanity and so the right thing by to do is screenshot it and show it to the largest number of people” is silly.

I finally finished Arcane tonight and it was so good! But I really wish it went like an episode or two longer. I wish there was more time for Mel’s arc and more time exploring her newfound powers.
