“What are we doing, Kacchan?” Midoryia asked, even as he stood from his comfortable seat on the couch to join the blonde in front of the fireplace.

Chuckling, Bakugo cupped the back of the nerd’s head and pulled him in for a kiss. “Wanna go snuggle our baby in bed?”

“Kacchan!”

Opening the box, Bakugo lifted out a large plush that looked as if someone had shoved a mini him into one of his gauntlets. “The fuck is this?”

“It’s Dynamy! Isn’t he adorable? He’s as cute as Kacchan, so I had to get him for you!”

“You can’t just buy everything that makes you think of me.” Bakugo gave Midoryia a stern glare as he turned the gift to get at the rest of the tape. “You’re going to end up broke as fuck.”

“Mmm, but it would be worth it.”

“What is it?” the blonde asked, already carefully peeling the first piece of tape.

“I’m not going to tell you what’s in it.”

“No. Why the gift? What’s the occasion?”

“I saw it and thought of you. No other reason.”

“What? Kacchan!” Midoryia resurfaced, face tomato red. “That’s not why I went in here!” In his hands was the box he’d been wrapping in their kitchen so many weeks ago. “Here, open it.” He set the box in Bakugo’s lap.

“I have the perfect distraction!” Midoryia chirped and then disappeared into their room.

“Hah? Izuku, my body is still jello from the last round, we are not doing that again!”

“That’s what I just said.” The blonde arched an eyebrow at his boyfriend. They’d taken a weekend off to rent a cabin and get some time alone away from villains and their extras. “What should we do to pass the time?”

“But it’s noon!” Midoryia protested. He dashed over and looked outside. “Oh. Oh, no. Yeah we’re not leaving today. Even if we could see, which we can’t, I don’t think any of the roads are clear enough for it.”

“I don’t think we’re going home tonight, Nerd.” Bakugo let the curtain fall back into place and threw himself on the couch in front of the fireplace. “Looks like midnight out there.”

Chuckling, Bakugo finally eased up. “Brat,” he grumbled. “Love you.”

Midoryia shrieked with laughter as he was abruptly tickled until he collapsed on the rug in front of the fireplace. “Kacchan!” he wailed, tears springing from his eyes as he kept laughing under the assault. He writhed on the rug, trying, and failing, to push the blonde’s hands away.

“A couple more days and we can start our Christmas countdown.”

“Don’t speak that vile ‘C’ word around me.”

“Countdown?”

“Fuckin’ Deku!”

“Oh, it’s perfect Kacchan.” Midoryia let his head rest on Bakugo’s shoulder. “Kacchan thinks of everything,” he murmured softly.

“Yeah, you think so?”

“Mhmm. I know so. Kacchan is just that awesome.”

“Only cause I’ve got you to chase after,” he murmured into green curls.

“Dancing.” Tugging his boyfriend close, Bakugo gently encouraged Midoryia to sway with him. “We’ve got soft music, the fire’s going, and the snow is slowly falling outside.”

“Come ‘ere Nerd,” Bakugo said softly, hand held out to his boyfriend.

Between tweaking my back on wed (it still hurts), a snow storm, and work, I haven't had much of a chance to write. I've 2 flufftember pieces to finish, and I owe y'all a chapter for my longfic. It's almost done, promise!

Someone (in my building) keeps thumping and I'm about to throw a table at them. There's no reason for that much loud thumping!
