Yesterday we were on a red weather warning for wind & it was definitely pretty grim out there! Kii (horse) gets very unsettled by strong wind, stable door was open so he had choice. But the thing that really settles him is DD, DD is the gentlest most intuitive goat & will stand & comfort him

Whilst this is a small scoping bid its a great opportunity for me to experience leading a multi-country project. We're collaborating with Ghana, Nigeria and Brazil! So far its been... a lot... there is so much to do, but I'm really looking forward to engaging with stakeholders & hearing their views

I think we talked about this on Twitter! As someone with a PhD in goats I 100% validate your concern and donβt believe it is appropriate for a goat to live alone. As you said theyβre herd animals - I do think buttercup sanctuary are worth contacting!

My starter pack is growing! Please reach out if you use animal models (flies, worms, mice, fish, etc) to study disease mechanisms and want to be added.

As an academic Iβm always absolutely baffled by the fact my brother, a welder-fabricator, gets paid overtime for even 15 mins outside of his normal hours. He physically canβt take his work home AND he doesnβt have any form of emails to deal with?! Mind blowing
