Hey, gang! I hope you check out the latest of my NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD podcast @bedevstld.bsky.social on all podcast streamers. In this one, my BEDE & STEVE VS. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE co-host Steven T. Boltz rejoins me to discuss the 2019 London stage production of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: LIVE!.

Just when you think that’s nothing left to see of Elvis Presley, Baz Luhrmann’s latest is a terrific music film that beautifully restores and constructs its never before seen footage/music performances to great effect. The King’s concert scenes were especially both electrifying and exhilarating. 4/5

The 7th entry isn’t up there as one of the best in the series, it’s definitely far from the disaster that most of making it out to be. While the script could’ve been stronger and the killer reveal was weak, it’s still a really enjoyable sequel that solid cast, cool gore and fun set pieces. 3.5/5

Between this and THE NAKED GUN, it’s nice to see parody films making a comeback. While not great by any means, this was still an enjoyable, silly and very funny pisstake on period costume dramas that has a good mix of high-brow & low-brow humour. The cast are clearly having a good time here. 3.5/5
