The only reason the private sector has any spare capacity (it is never cost effective to run at spare capacity) is because they have been promised NHS contracts.

Why not fix NHS pay and bring that capacity back in house?

Better for patients. Better for NHS staff. Better for the tax payer.

Nursing is not a vocation. It’s a highly skilled, safety-critical profession.

It takes a remarkable person to work in nursing.

Today, we look back on #NursesDay 2024, and extend our thanks again to nursing staff everywhere for the difference they make every day.

Foxes are incredible creatures—playful, intelligent, and vital to our ecosystems. They deserve to thrive in the wild, free from fear and cruelty. 🦊

Killing them for sport is barbaric and senseless. Let’s protect their joy and beauty.

I've seen a child with tetanus, I've treated near fatal infections after chicken pox, and I've pronounced children dead from COVID whose parents refused to have them vaccinated.

We have lost our minds... and are about to lose so many of our precious children.
