A 4-panel comic. In the first panel, Bamey (age 27), an otter, is checking Grindr on his phone, and finding his father, Bap (age 56, also an otter) on it. "Ew, gross, Dad's on Grindr..." In the second panel, Bamey's shoulder-angel, as we all have those, rips him a new one, reminding him "You're one to talk! You're as much of a pervert as your dad!" In the third panel, their trains of thought come to a crashing halt as Bamey's phone pings a notification. In the fourth and final panel, Bap has messaged Bamey over Grindr... only to ask "hey son! sorry to message u here but could u do laundry for me i have hookup coming over 2nite" Bamey, stunned at the sheer brass balls of his dad to ask this OVER GRINDR, responds "gross dad! but sure" to which Bap reacts to the message with a flame emoji Bamey closes out the comic musing to himself about his dad. "So embarrassing!"

Idk i just thought it would be neat if there was a convention where people could get together and talk about their favorite type of pet simulator, DigiPet/VirtualPet and share their thoughts and rants about them.

Anyways, rant over lol.

It wouldn’t even have to exclusively be just those devices, it could also include pet simulator games too like Nintendogs, Hamsterz Life, or even people put hours and hours into the chao garden in the sonic adventure games (i know i have)

Like a convention that not only celebrates tamagotchi but also celebrates other versions and iterations of the DigiPet/VirtualPet experience such as; Digimon, GigaPets, people who have the little pocket pikachu from the 90s, the PokeWalker from HGSS, etc.

Genuine question, is there such a thing as a convention solely for DigiPets/VirtualPets?

I’m not talking about a convention only for like tamagotchis, I’m talking about something more broader if that makes sense?
