Codenames is great! Just know that if you are playing with married/long term couples they get split into different teams or it’s going to be hugely unfair… or I suppose potentially terrible fighting but that’s just supposition. The telepathic powers of long term couples though is real I seen it.

I know all of those except Superfight… ok I’m also starting to doubt Once Upon a Time, that is too ubiquitous a phrase to be sure of.

What psychopath does the floor and walls in the same material? With no trim or baseboards in particular? “It makes it look bigger!” While simultaneously making it look teeny-tiny. Don’t go in there drunk you’ll loose all depth and stub something.

On a social level it is significantly cheaper to take care of people, feed them and give them medical attention. But the math is complicated and needs to be viewed over many years.

Devaluing that human connection. Muting even the emotional release of knowing you might be communicating with other people somehow.

So I write for sanity and emotional release and human connection and all that good stuff. And I’m hoping that by the time I retire that my writing will be earning enough money that it is self sustainable. I’m not asking for it to be a living, I’m asking it to not be an active money sink.

North America grossly underrates cold cuts on fresh buttered bread for breakfast. Especially in regards to how difficult it is for a hotel buffet to fuck up.

Unlike eggs. Hotel buffet eggs are, nine times out of ten, an abomination.

Oh the paladin series is so good!

I really liked the Paladin series I thought they were all read well (and I really hope there will be more!)

And yeah I feel some of the other readers may, umm, be early in their career...

Hemlock and Silver was pretty good too, the fact it is in first person softens the need for multiple voices
