Congressman Josh Riley empty events calendar August 2025 does not show Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce meeting of August 28

For the general public, Congressman Josh Riley of Ithaca has a completely empty schedule for all of August. Yet, we've learned that Riley has a private meeting - ticket holders only - at Ithaca College Emerson Suites from 8-11 tomorrow morning.

Why is Josh Riley only holding private meetings?

The imagery isn’t violent. What is being done to people in Gaza is violent. And Congressman Josh Riley is too cowardly to meet with people who have a problem with his pro-violence agenda.

The TeraWulf lease allows the company to burn fossil fuels to create 82.74 percent of its energy for its generative AI center on Cayuga Lake. It is not predominantly zero carbon. It is predominantly dirty fossil fuels spewing carbon dioxide pollution. TeraWulf counts on the people of Ithaca not being able to do simple math.

Ithaca environmentalists take note:
The old coal-fired power plant on Cayuga Lake has been taken over by TeraWulf, with deceptive “predominantly zero carbon” language in its lease.
In fact, the lease allows for up to 82.74% of the energy to come from burning fossil fuels.
This is for generative AI.
