โ€œIn four years, Stalin was already in Berlin. Putin hasnโ€™t even reached Kyiv, and he never will,โ€ said Finnish President Stubb.

What amazed me was learning about Plutoโ€™s thin โ€˜atmosphere.โ€™ Our solar system never stops surprising, as long as we keep exploring it.

From a European view, it looks like MTG has realized Trumpโ€™s circle is falling apart and that his critics might come out on top of the disaster. A political move, in other words.

Seeing from Europe, it's hard to grasp a society that elected such an obvious fraud and liar as its leader. I fear he'll scheme for a third term if the hamburgers don't do their job.

I could throw in some ironic, humorous comment here, but that would be way too easy, so I wonโ€™t.

What will they think when their children and grandchildren end up in a Russian 're-education' concentration camp? My guess is they will still remain Putinists and pro-Russian.

This is important to understand. The whole Russian society bears some responsibility, not actively, but by allowing this to happen. No uprising, no mass protests; mostly just waiting, drinking vodka, and hoping for better days.

This is humor โ€” but sadly also reality. Ordinary Russians do understand whatโ€™s going on, but the regimeโ€™s grip is too strong. Eventually the pressure will build through rising taxes, fuel shortages, price hikesโ€ฆ and so on.

Itโ€™s easy to believe the survivors. Itโ€™s much harder to trust those who keep hiding this information, especially when thereโ€™s reason to think well-known names are involved. Donaldโ€ฆ and so on... he is not alone!

Ukraine will not lose this war. It may not win it militarily. The war will end when Russia's leadership and people tire of Putin's regime and someone succeeds in offering him a special cup of tea. The war is disrupting too many oligarchic businesses.

Hereโ€™s another thing I donโ€™t get about the world. If I were filthy rich, Iโ€™d buy fancy cars and take luxury vacations in the sun. The last thing on my mind would be making more moneyโ€”especially from people who are starving.

From a European perspective, itโ€™s hard to understand Trumpโ€™s election and the unwavering loyalty of his supporters. Heโ€™s done everything possible to destroy Americaโ€™s international reputation, and itโ€™ll take decades to rebuild it.

This is a good thing. Europe seriously needs to break free from U.S. military tech and develop its own, ready for Russiaโ€™s constant threat. That threat wonโ€™t vanish, even if the regime changes. In Finland, we understand this, we have strong defense forces.

Soldiers have to do as theyโ€™re told, nothing they can do about it. Though their lives are hell before Ukraineโ€™s army takes them out.

Before the orc invasion of Ukraine, I knew little about the country. Iโ€™ve since read books on its history and if I thought Russia was a tough neighbor for Finland, weโ€™ve had a summer picnic compared to Ukraine. Iโ€™m very grateful for your posts that deepen my understanding of Ukrainian culture.

Thatโ€™s how propaganda works โ€” promise and offer something that looks good on the surface. But think a bit deeper, and you see the trap. Most people just donโ€™t know or bother to look that far.

Ukraine is currently fighting with all its might against autocracy and outright fascism. If Russia wins, very dark times will fall over Europe. Central and Southern Europe may not fully realize that yet.

Reading this feels like diving into a gray mush of brains, swimming around trying to find anything sensible, eating a carrot, and getting rich by praising the greatest leader.

Whatโ€™s so hard about this? People have different religions, opinions, even appearances. Weโ€™re still the sameโ€”feelings, hopes, desires. Where the hell does this racism still come from? I am angry.

This picture gave me an idea. If (or when) I travel abroad again, Iโ€™d love to take a vintage train trip โ€” Oriental Express style, with a dinner menu and white tablecloths and all.
