'Trump Intentionally Starves Americans’ is the headline that needs to be repeated everywhere as often as possible.
Trump overrides the USDA, which was court-ordered to provide SNAP funding.
The reason SNAP costs "exploded" starting in 2021 was because USDA implemented a change to the calculation of how much families should spend on food each month. This change was mandated by Congress in the farm bill that passed... in 2018, when Trump was president.

After stalling for weeks, Pres. Trump is signaling that he will defy court orders, while USDA Sec. Rollins claims releasing SNAP is a “cumbersome process” that could result in long delays. The courts have ruled on this issue & the President is still refusing to feed people.
