New Fossil Species Found 6 Metres Under Nepal Reveals a Cooler, Wetter Past The 50,000-Year-Old Nut: New Plant Species Discovered in Kathmandu Basin
Researchers from the Birbal Sahni Institute of Paleosciences, India, have identified a new species: ππ³π’π±π’ π¨π°π¬π’π³π―π’π―π΄πͺπ΄. Found in Kathmandu, this fossilized chestnut dates back 53,000 years, when the region was a safe zone for plants.
