USAID.gov is down. Why is this concerning? Trump has no legal authority to eliminate a congressionally funded independent agency. The work of USAID is vital, and if this can happen to them, it can happen to any of us.

They are destroying USAID and no one is doing anything to stop it. longtime senior administrative leaders have been put on leave. No guidance how to respond. People around the world are suffering as medical supplies have stopped. Inhumane. Unconscionable. This agency is a force for good.
