On Sunday I took my 5 year old to a remembrance service for the first time. She helped me lay the wreath.

John Swinney must explain how he'll get Scottish steel plants back in operation This week has shown there must be no doubt – the UK government is championing international trade with renewed passion and purpose.

Lots of words about what they can’t do but not a peep from the FM about last week's trade deals that are superb for Scotland, nor a peep about steel in Scotland.

1,351 young people left school last year with no qualifications.

This morning I was at the University of Edinburgh to outline how I have changed the Scotland Office and how Scotland’s two governments must work together to achieve economic growth.

These are uncertain times for the world. Last week marked the third anniversary of Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine. The old assumptions that have for decades underpinned our security and that of our European neighbours are crumbling around us.
