My illness may be chronic but my chair is iconic. Yes, that is Captain Barnacles and Peso (interesting fact they are held on by bracelets that were given to me at Ghosts events all the way back in 2023). The chair is called Trevor as in Trevor the blob, if you get that reference you are cool.

Made a prat of myself at the doctors assuming that it would be accessible, there's a ramp but there's also a sizable lip on the doorway so if you can't wheelie you can't get in. Also, the doorways are so small my god. You'd think it would be common sense for a gp to be fully accessible.

Day two of being a wheelchair user -abled-bodied people are annoying. HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY I DO NOT NEED HELP FOR YOU TO LEAVE ME ALONE?
I am fully capable of opening the door to my own flat thank you very much. This has happened twice... today!

I somehow now have a collection of old films and theatre magazines, I've never been a magazine collector but my current special interest is Robert Donat and there are many magazines with articles about him from the 30s, 40s and a few from 50s. So I now just have a folder of Donat related stuff

What I find most interesting about this is how incredibly relevant it is still nearly 80 years on. They were fighting producers to make good quality films and we still are today especially now with the awful rise in AI.

Why are all the governments' "hard decisions" always to push people further into poverty instead of taxing the rich? It's always hard decisions that hurt vulnerable people. Most people getting LCWRA are already in poverty why are they taking more money off disabled people? Labour do better.

Went to bed early to fix the horrendous sleep schedule, it didn't work, I woke up at 2am and can't get back to sleep. I normally sleep 10+ hours....unless I go to bed before like 11:30 pm then apparently I wake up after a few hours. *sighs*

You know I've noticed that you can tell who the Robert Donat fans are/people who know a decent amount about Donat's life in the letter box reviews. This is particularly evident for the film Lease of Life.

Haven’t browsed iPlayer in a while and just discovered that they added several Le Carré TV adaptations. I had seen Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy ages ago but I didn't know it was on iPlayer along with Smiley's People. My watch list is now even longer than before.

Autocorrect just turned apologies to Apolitical in an email and I didn't notice until it was already sent. 🥲

You know why greens are so popular amongst us youngest, because they are the only ones offering hope. We have lived through decades of governments that don't care about our generation, who scapegoat us and make our lives harder. The greens are offering a better world, they are offering us a future.

We are watching the rise of fascism live-streamed through our phones, we are watching genocide live-streamed through our phones, we are watching horrific events live-streamed through our phones. Not a single person can claim they didn't know it was happening, no one can say "we didn't know".

I no longer get anxious about being on stage which is such a bizarre thing cause I used to be terrified every time, I love it but it was terrifying but now its not terrifying and I still love it.

I keep seeing people saying ICE are "doing their job" and "following orders", do you know who else was "doing their Job" and "following orders" the nazi's. They're kidnapping people, they're killing people, they're targeting the vulnerable. Don't you dare make excuses for them, they are fascists.

Are the Americans alright? No seriously are you guys okay because I'm not even over there and seeing the utter horrors going on in the US is terrifying. Don't let the fascists win.
