The best part is that they didn't even have the decency to use AI generated art. They were too lazy to find good prompts. They just HAD to steal.

07.12.2024 20:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I was really interested in the Hyundai N Vision 74 and did a little research to see how viable hydrogen is for mass adoption.
What I found is that the production of hydrogen is extremely inefficient. I'd like to see what Tesla has to say about that.
Basically: you can't just drive excessively slow on the racing line. It's unsafe.
If you need to go slow enough that it takes you below the max allowed lap time (1min 40sec in Qatar), then you MUST get out of the way for traffic coming past you.
Read the penalty notes. You can just park it up on the driving line.
If Max needed to go slow, he should have driven in a safe manner and not impeded.
It's unlikely that Russel wanted to pass, because it gave Max the slipstream. You'll never convince me this wasn't intentional to force overshoot
You can't just go slow on a cool down lap to get into the position you want. This is why max lap times exist.
If everyone could overslow to get into the position they want (usually to get into a slipstream), qualifying sessions would just be a parking lot.
100% warranted penalty.
Both Checo and I took a little nap during qualifying π€£
30.11.2024 23:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0However, if he can't keep up with Leclerc, he might just hang up his hat and let Sainz come back. He seems pretty devastated in all these recent interviews.
30.11.2024 23:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I was really hoping Sainz would go to Audi, since I'll be rooting for them in 2026. Williams just isn't competitive and it will be like watching Danny Ric wasting away at RB all over again.
I do think Hamilton will catch his fire at Ferrari again though.
Exactly. Even going back to 2022 with the W13, he told Mercedes to ditch the zero side-pod concept and they ignored him. It's been that way for a long time.
I was never a big Hamilton fan, but I'm pretty excited to see him in another car. Hopefully Ferrari can keep theirs competitive in 2025
It's great to see the #F1 feed absolutely pop off here on #BlueSky this qualifying session.
A big thanks to everyone that's making the move to this platform enjoyable!
You just need to scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Sorry, I can't do anything right now":
30.11.2024 20:03 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Haha I also fell asleep in the gap between Q2 and Q3. Just barely woke up to see Verstappen take pole π‘
30.11.2024 19:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Unsafe release during qualifying is usually just a fine, so no big deal for Sainz. I'm curious what the overslowing penalty will be though, as I'm sure we all are.
30.11.2024 19:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Especially with the team giving him orders to keep position and not risk losing a place to Russel.
I know "papaya rules" have been rough for both of these drivers, but I'm glad they seem to be dealing with them well. They're so evenly matched that next year is going to be even more interesting.
I'm not sure if there's a penalty here, but standing on the brakes so the current pollsitter overshoots and has to give you a tow is certainly unsportsmanlike conduct.
30.11.2024 19:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I didn't really enjoy how the pressure had been getting to him over the last half of this season. I hope he takes some time this winter to recenter himself because next year is going to be just as competitive.
30.11.2024 19:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That's a decent idea!
I'm going to be watching some previous F1 seasons, since I'm a newish fan, but both Indy and F2 are excellent options as well.
I thought Toto did a good job explaining it when he was asked during the post race interviews: Hamilton just doesn't like the car and how it handles.
He hasn't liked it for years and he can't wait for next year. Nothing is going to change that now.
Let's see how he does in the Ferrari.
To me, it appears that Max overslowed to force Russel to give him a tow for their final lap.
I don't know the rules on that. As long as Max met the maximum lap time limit, he didn't necessarily break any rules.
Just another example of unsafe behavior from Max that pushed the rulebook.
Light sabers pls, thx.
I gave up on thinking SC would be a realistic game years ago. Just do what is fun.
I'm starting to see the streamer "going live" spam creep into the #StarCitizen feed and I'm wondering how to filter it out on BlueSky.
Do I just mute the term twitch.tv to get rid of them?
Here are a couple examples:
27.11.2024 05:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If you go with the Logitech stick, you can get cheap mounts on Amazon:
a.co/d/3jE0F8w
For a step up, check MonsterTech:
www.monster.tech
If you're mounting like this, you need to get a keyboard and mouse tray as well to keep everything in line.
The other benefit of HOMAS is that it's an easy transition to FPS, since you are already using your mouse a lot.
That's where I recommend you start. Then when you're ready to upgrade, you can get a right hand stick and go full HOSAS.
And if you do get mounting hardware, DON'T buy Predator mounts. The owner for that company is in the middle of a meltdown and has taken people's money and not shipped the orders.
