Starfield is better than you were told. There are absolutely flaws you could point out (the lack of a codex in an exploration-themed game is egregious) but it also does a lot of things right, and it's more of a proper RPG than any of BGS's games in the last few decades. #🎮

Jim Butcher’s Furies of Calderon was refreshing after reading a few fantasy novels that don’t know how to wrap up a story. Relatedly, I don’t think I’ll be reading the rest of John Gwynne’s Bloodsworn trilogy

Blind PCs tend to fall into two categories. 1) they are played with RAW blind condition and operate at an enormous disadvantage in combat, roleplaying, and skill encounters, forcing everyone in the game to work around one player’s choice. Or…
