Ex-farm worker here.

We need to talk about this whole "But a living wage for farm workers would spike the cost of food!" thing.

Not true AT ALL.

Y'all don't understand how fast experienced farm workers are.

The average tomato picker pulls 650lbs per hour.

At $20/hr, that's $0.03/lb for labor.

Victim of Boulder Firebombing Attack Dies of Wounds

I am heartbroken by the news from Colorado where Karen Diamond, a victim of the vicious attack earlier this month, has passed away.

May Karen’s memory be a blessing and a reminder that we must constantly work to eradicate hatred and violence.

It hurts my heart every day that this is happening in America.
I believed our country was a place where if you called 911 you got help.
How have we lost our humanity?

If you left NY that would mean you still have a choice in that which as we’ve seen is a huge privilege in 2025.

In a risky, escalatory move, Trump bombed 3 Iranian nuclear sitesβ€”including Fordow.

This comes in spite of US Intel finding Iran is not within imminent reach of a nuclear weapon.

Iran’s proxies could retaliate against US bases in the region.

This is dangerously destabilizing.
