So my daughter's younger half-sister is doing a little presentation this week, telling the class who her "favourite, most special person is to her." Apparently, she's doing it about her older sister (my daughter).

Little kids are just so pure and innocent. I hope her love for her sister never fades

lol. That would be up to the transgender community. Their day is the 31st and I definitely didn't want to co-opt their day. But I'm sure the parties go well into the morning, so it's inevitable.

My Sister-in-law wanted to understand and be on my side, but she really didn't "get" the difference. So I used this line.

However, Mom also dropped her own philosophy on me at an early age. "Do it right the first time." Lol. A much better phrase I try to live by. My phrase is just the back up ha ha.

Comical example is if youre asked to build someone a house, you make them an igloo... oops. But you make it the damn best igloo ever made!

A tragic real world example on the other extreme, is if you do drugs, you use them safely, store them away from vulnerable family and you don't bankrupt yorself

A personal philosophy/catch phrase of mine:

"If you're going to do it wrong, at least do it right"

A kind of catch all saying if you've done the wrong thing, used the wrong tool, went the wrong way, etc, make the best of it, do it the most moral and correct way. Get the original intended goals.

Ooof. Waking up with some serious brain fog. Not as bad as yesterday, but damn. Just staring at the screen, watching random youtube shorts I don't give a shit about.

At least Mondays always have a purpose for me: clean all the mess my daughter made. So many spills and dirty blankets omg.
