There are definitely a few moments through the game where it feels like one writer set things up, then another just wasn't interested (Moenbryda for example).

It's unfortunate that this Nanamo section feels like such a shut-down for future exploration, and a really sad end for her development 🥲

Sorry lol, I rewatched this part of the story recently and it made me just as mad as I was the first time round 😅

"Actually Nanamo is just a silly little girl and the monetarists were right all along. Aiding refugees is bad actually, unless the wealthy can profit from it. Looks like Nanamo learned her lesson and grew up!"

SB has some rancid politics but everyone was too busy going "Lyse bad" to notice I guess.

FFXIV Stormblood SPOILERS/RANT

The Nanamo plotline in 4.1 is so atrocious and it drives me crazy that no one talks about how bad it is - especially because it is "wrapping up" the plotline that started with the Bloody Banquet - a moment everyone loves! I've been mad about it for like 3 years man.

It was a real pleasure to write and design for such a beloved world and story. I loved delving deep into the complex characters who occupy this dark world. GitS fans are in for a treat!

I have no relation to the Arise game. This RPG from Mantic is based on the official license for Shirow Masamune’s original work - that’s all I know really.

I don't have anything to do with the licensing myself - but I did really enjoy getting to soak in all the wonderful manga art, and I found the author's notes great too 😁

It's been a wild ride!

Interesting news, @manticgames.bsky.social have just announced they’re releasing a The Ghost in the Shell: Tabletop Roleplaying Game this year

They’re more known for their wargames and alongside Zak Barouh (Animon) the game is being designed by Alessio Calvatore (Warhammer, Mordheim etc) but…
